Help Us Review Ilmington’s Neighbourhood Plan
The Parish Council is forming a small working group to decide whether to review the Ilmington Neighbourhood Plan – and what that review should cover.

In 2021 the Ilmington Neighbourhood Plan 2011–2031 was adopted and became part of the local planning framework guiding development in the parish. Members of the community helped shape the plan to ensure it expressed the local vision for development of our village. To ensure the plan remains current, it must be reviewed and updated periodically.
⚠️ Why it matters:
If we don’t review the Plan, it may carry less weight in planning decisions, especially where the district council can’t demonstrate a five-year housing land supply. That means it could be harder to push back against speculative or unwanted development.
