Two Unitary Councils Confirmed for Warwickshire
The Government has announced local councils in Warwickshire will be reorganised into two new unitary councils, a South Warwickshire Council and a North Warwickshire Council.
Ilmington is a delightful Warwickshire village which lies at the northernmost tip of the Cotswolds with many of the houses built with the local honey-coloured iron stone. It is known for the many footpaths that crisscross the village and for the remnants of its historic, multi-variety apple orchards.

Changes coming on 20 July 2026. To avoid delay or a wasted journey, residents should check whether booking is required for their preferred site.
The library van brings books and library services directly to our village, but it can only continue to thrive if people use it.
Tonight's meeting, Thursday 25 June, has been cancelled because of the extreme heat, and will instead take place on Thurs 2nd July.
