Ilmington is a delightful Warwickshire village which lies at the northernmost tip of the Cotswolds with many of the houses built with the local honey-coloured iron stone. It is known for the many footpaths that crisscross the village and for the remnants of its historic, multi-variety apple orchards.
Following another serious collision, Ilmington Parish Council is supporting a petition for traffic lights to improve safety at the junction of the Darlingscott Road with the A429 Fosse Way.
The Regulation 19 consultation runs for a period of 7 weeks ending on Tuesday 8 September 2026.
With the current hot, dry weather, the risk of fire is significantly higher than normal. Ilmington Parish Council would like to advise visitors to our parks that barbecues are not currently permitted.
