Road Closures in Ilmington on 15 and 20 August
Carriageway patching is taking place on Washbrook Place on 15 August and on Front Street on 20 August
Ilmington is a delightful Warwickshire village which lies at the northernmost tip of the Cotswolds with many of the houses built with the local honey-coloured iron stone. It is known for the many footpaths that crisscross the village and for the remnants of its historic, multi-variety apple orchards.
Carriageway patching is taking place on Washbrook Place on 15 August and on Front Street on 20 August
The closure is expected to last five days , until 10 August 2026, or until the work is completed.
We are supporting a petition for traffic lights to improve safety at the junction of the Darlingscott Road with the A429, following another serious collision involving an Ilmington resident.
The Regulation 19 consultation runs for a period of 7 weeks ending on Tuesday 8 September 2026.
