🗓️ Date: Wednesday 7th August 2024
⏰ Time: 7pm
📍 Location: Ilmington Village Hall
It is over a year since the last public meeting with Severn Trent when residents expressed their concerns about continued problems with sewage overflows and flooding in the village. Since then Severn Trent have conducted extensive survey work, updated their modelling and evaluated potential options for tackling the problem
Come along and find out what they intend to do. A good attendance will show Severn Trent that our concerns have not gone away. All welcome
Water Butts Offer
In a separate initiative, Severn Trent Water are offering residents slow draining water butts. These are designed to reduce the volume of water from roofs flowing into the drains in heavy rainfall conditions and overwhelming the combined surface water and sewage system. The water butts are free and Severn Trent Water will even install them for you. To find out more and sign up follow the link in the document below.
