NHS Launches Public Consultation on South Warwickshire Community Rehabilitation Beds
The consultation on whether to return beds to the Ellen Badger Hospital is open until Friday 14th February 2025.
Published: 8 January 2025
NHS Coventry and Warwickshire ICB have launched a public consultation on the future locations of 35 community rehabilitation beds in South Warwickshire, running from 6th January to 14th February 2025.
They’re asking for your views on two options:
- Option A: Spread the beds across three sites: Ellen Badger, Leamington Spa, and Stratford Hospitals.
- Option B: Keep the beds at Leamington Spa and Stratford Hospitals only, with no beds at Ellen Badger.
They want to hear the views of current and former patients, staff, stakeholders, local residents, and interested organisations on the impacts of both these options.

The online consultation is open until Friday 14th February 2025.
An in-person consultation event is being held in The Townsend Hall, Shipston from 4pm to 5:30pm on 22nd January 2025.
