Armscote Road, Ilmington to Close for Three Months for Sewer Upgrade

Planned closure from 11 August to 7 November 2025 will allow major foul sewer upgrades aimed at reducing local flood risk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF  ARMSCOTE ROAD, ILMINGTON

Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order details as indicated below:

Effect of Order Armscote Road, Ilmington closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Front Street and Darlingscote Road.
Reason for Order Foul sewer works in connection to the flooding prevention scheme.
Order Effective from: 11 August 2025 for up to 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is sooner.
Anticipated Completion Date: 7 November 2025
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Armscote Road, Ilmington Road, Halford Road, Shipston Road, Stratford Road, Crimscote Road, Crimscote Lane, Front Street and vice versa.

Vehicular access and egress will be maintained where possible
