Armscote Road, Ilmington to Close for Three Months for Sewer Upgrade
Planned closure from 11 August to 7 November 2025 will allow major foul sewer upgrades aimed at reducing local flood risk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ARMSCOTE ROAD, ILMINGTON
Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order details as indicated below:
Effect of Order | Armscote Road, Ilmington closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Front Street and Darlingscote Road. |
Reason for Order | Foul sewer works in connection to the flooding prevention scheme. |
Order Effective from: 11 August 2025 for up to 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is sooner. | |
Anticipated Completion Date: 7 November 2025 | |
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Armscote Road, Ilmington Road, Halford Road, Shipston Road, Stratford Road, Crimscote Road, Crimscote Lane, Front Street and vice versa.
Vehicular access and egress will be maintained where possible |
