Support Your Local Mobile Library

The library van brings books and library services directly to our village, but it can only continue to thrive if people use it.

Published: 10 July 2026

The Mobile Library is a valuable service that brings books and library services directly to our village, but it can only continue to thrive if people use it.

The service (Route L) currently stops at Hurdlers Lane every four weeks on Mondays, 2pm-2:15pm.

If you haven’t visited before, why not call in next time it’s here?

Upcoming visits are expected on:

  • Mon 20 July 2026,
  • Mon 17 August
  • Mon 14 September
  • Mon 12 October
  • Mon 9 November
  • Mon 7 December

Whether you’re looking for bestselling novels, children’s books, large print titles, or simply fancy a browse, there’s something for everyone. It’s free to join the library, and the friendly team are always happy to help.

💬 We’d also love to hear from you. If you don’t currently use the Mobile Library, what’s stopping you? What would encourage you to visit more often or make greater use of library services?

Do you know what the Library Van offers? Is there something you’d like to see available, or would more information about the services on offer make a difference?

Please share your thoughts with us and we’ll pass this onto the libraries team.
