Stratford-on-Avon District Council is preparing a new Council Plan that will guide its work over the period 2023-27.

Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council says: “Since the elections in May, the District Council has been working on the plan that will govern the actions we need to take in the next four years.

“We have worked with key stakeholders to produce a vision of the challenges the Council needs to address if we are to deliver a better future for residents, communities, and businesses in the District.

“The views of our residents are important in setting this long-term vision. This is your opportunity to take part in this consultation and I would encourage you to have your say.”

The District Council is currently consulting on the following core areas of focus: Residents and Communities; Delivery of Service; Climate Change; Health and Wellbeing; Housing and the Local Economy.

It is hoped that the new Council Plan will be completed and ready to be put forward for approval to the Council meeting in December 2023.
