Notice from Warwickshire County Council:

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COUNTRY PARKS) (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to make provision as to the use of parking places within the Council’s Country Parks, as briefly outlined in the Schedule below.

The Order will apply to all of the Country Parks within Warwickshire. This will bring the car parks in line with the Civil Parking Enforcement regime that is already operated throughout Warwickshire for on-street parking and in the Council’s off-street car parks. The only visible changes to our visitors will be car parking signage and the presence of Civil Enforcement Officers who will operate in the car parks, if the Order is made, instead of on-site rangers.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the locations of the parking places affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://countryparks.warwickshire.gov.uk/homepage/9/parking-and-permits.

Any objections or representations to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds on which they are made, should be addressed to Graham Stanley, County Highways Minor Works, Shire Hall Post Room, Rear of Shire Hall, Northgate Street, Warwick, CV34 4RL, or sent by email to pmc@warwickshire.gov.uk using the subject “Country Parks”. Objections, representations, and the name of the objector or person making a representation, will normally be treated as public information and may be published.

Objections and representations must be sent so as to be received by 5 April 2024.
